Consultation Services
The Illness Management and Recovery (IMR) Program consists of weekly sessions in which mental health counselors help people who have experienced psychiatric symptoms develop personal strategies for coping with mental illness and moving forward with their lives. The program can be provided in individual or group formats and generally lasts 4 to 12 months.
As the first agency of its kind to implement IMR in residential programs, Open Sky Community Services’ experience now extends to multiple programs, and dozens of staff who are trained in IMR techniques. Our menu of IMR training and consultation services ranges from one-time consultation to extensive staff training, program development and monitoring.
